You can't buy a rainbow but you can stop and marvel
Two months ago as I stepped outside my workplace to catch the bus home, I was greeted by this beautiful rainbow.
I couldn't help but stop and marvel even though I might miss my bus home and have to wait another half hour. I'm so glad I did.
I always think of rainbows as God's blessings - the light through the rain. And often I see a rainbow as confirmation of my thoughts or answers to questions.
God's creations are priceless. No man made marvel can match them and thank goodness that no amount of wealth in the world can buy them.
Man made marvels and wealth give us great pleasure for moments in time. Nature on the other hand charge us nothing and give us infinite pleasure all the time.
You can't buy a rainbow but you can stop and marvel.
Check out some more of my rainbow thoughts.
Wishing you many rainbows.
Warm Regards

DeleteYou always state it so simply and with great feeling. So true that Nature's beauty has much more lasting value than anything humans make. I love rainbows and consider them so lucky. I would have missed that bus and looked at the rainbow just like you did, Suzy. Good choice.

ReplyDeletetrue.. it is one of those guilty pleasures for all of us after a rain - to find the rainbow and grin at its marvel. Of course, I do want to confirm whether there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, too!!!
ReplyDeleteRainbows - one of nature's lovely light shows! ☺ We get quite a few in the summer here and I always enjoy them.
