Day 6 Ultimate Blogging Challenge
Oprah's 4th Question
My Ideal Outfit
In your perfect world, what are you wearing right now? Why aren't you actually wearing it?
I absolutely love my Indian outfits - the salwar kameez.
It's comfy and elegant. It can be dressy or casual. It makes me feel glamorous and pretty and it truly brings out the feminine in me. I love that best of all.
Why am I not wearing it right now (at the time of writing this post)? Well it's time to hop into bed and I'm in my very comfy PJs!

I feel the sari is the most sexiest dress which is not worn but draped. But it is relegated to the back of my wardrobe. Why ???, I do not know. but one day I will bring them into limelight and drape them again.
ReplyDeleteSari draped well and carried well is very elegant Kalpana, however, I never learned to do that.
DeleteSuch a pretty picture!! ♥ I tend to go for comfort jeans, sweatshirts or t-shirts.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy. I love my sweatpants / track pants too.
DeleteElegant!
ReplyDeleteThanks Janu.
DeleteI am most comfortable in Jeans and a top these days. If I don't accessorise, even better. :) I guess this is because I have worn a Salwar or Saree with jewellery most of my adult life. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty in the picture. Happy New Year Suzy. :)
Thanks Jyothi. I'm not really a jeans person though I do have a few jeans and wear them on our casual Fridays at work. Happy New Year to you too.
DeleteFor me the most comfortable outfit is jeans and tees. But yes, salwar kameezes are so comfy, yet elegant! Loved your pic too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachna. They are truly comfy and so elegant. I love them.
DeleteIs it an every day blog challnge :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway I agree with u I love my PJs and tops too and U r soooo cute in the pic above :)

Thanks Afshan. Yes I'm doing the Ultimate Blogging Challenge - blog everyday for January. PJs are so comfy.
DeleteI had never considered the comfort of this kind of dress before. Now that you mention it, it is pretty and DOES look comfortable! I will have to try one if ever given the opportunity. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy. It is very comfy and it looks lovely too. Hope someday you do get a chance to wear it. Some of my kiwi friends love wearing Indian clothes.
DeleteI am normally in Jeans and T-shirts to but today I am in exercise gear as I am heading for my workout at the gym.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your workout Dominique and thanks for stopping by.
DeleteYou look so nice and comfy in this dress !! its also the same for me, I am happy and comfortable in salwar..
ReplyDeleteThanks Genevive. And being comfy does make one happy.
DeleteI haven't worn a salwar kameez for the past year, Suzy, but they're my favourite formal outfits - I find the sari is a bit too difficult to manage on a regular basis! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too Corinne - the sari is too difficult to manage even on a one off basis!
DeletePajamas the most comfy ones.... Saree the sexiest and Salwar... classy and comfy too :)
ReplyDeleteLoved your pic :)
Thanks Sheethal you've summed it all up very nicely :)
DeleteIndeed it's an outfit that really brings grace if carried nicely...

DeleteLovely pic, Suzy! I guess, now my salwar suits are reserved for wearing only on festivals. Rest of the time it is only Jeans and Tees for me :P
ReplyDeleteThanks Shilpa. When I was in India, all I wanted to do was wear Jeans and Tees. Now that I'm here, all I want to do is wear my Salwars. That's human nature!
DeleteYou look lovely Suzy in the salwaar kameez. It sure is a comfortable outfit.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kajal. It sure is comfy.

ReplyDeleteThanks Shiva. Anything that makes us look slimmer is definitely a winner :)
DeleteOh you look so pretty! I love Indian outfits too but I feel that I can't work wearing them ... But salwar kameez I think is the most comfortable Indian attire...
