Day 28 Ultimate Blogging Challenge
Do songs speak to you?
There are some songs that when played send me a distinct message
Whenever I hear "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel and I'm going for an interview, I know I won't get that job, but I know I'll get an offer from the next one.
Often when I'm trying to find the answer to something and can't seem to get anywhere, I hear the song "Let it Be" by The Beatles. Then I know it's time to let go, let the Universe do its work and that ... there will be an answer.
And "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison... whenever I hear this song, I know it's a call from my sweet Lord to feel His presence. My post explains the detailed story behind this song. And I can truly feel His presence when I hear this song. It is such a sweet and blissful feeling.
So do songs speak to you? Share yours in the comments.
Have a blissful day.

'Where is the spring and the summer, which was once yours and mine...............' this songs resonates when I am a bit depressed.Songs are there for every occasion and mood.
ReplyDeleteI have had few songs do that over the years for me. Think I might. Have even written a post a while back.
ReplyDeleteSongs do speak to me all the time. There are several that were popular when either my mom or my dad passed away. There have been times when I have needed them or their guidance and out of the blue their song came on the radio. It made me feel as if they were with me at that moment when I needed them. I love music and there are many songs that trigger different memories. ♥
