Oprah's 3nd Question
The Mistake I Never Want To Make
There was a time in my life when I was afraid to make mistakes, but I have learned over the years that mistakes are great teachers and I move forward in leaps and bounds when I make them.
So the mistake I never want to make is the mistake of being afraid of making mistakes.
Have a fun day.

Isn't that the truth? Without mistakes we wouldn't learn some of life's greatest lessons. ♥
ReplyDeleteSo true Kathy. Yet we are so afraid to make mistakes.
DeleteHa! that's interesting, Suzy. We all do learn a great deal from mistakes.
ReplyDeleteWe sure do Kajal.
DeleteI totally agree with you on this Suzy.. the first thing which each kid should learn is that in life they will make mistake ..and its OK to make mistakes ..
ReplyDeleteI agree Shiva. Unfortunately all we got as kids was punishment for mistakes. No wonder we are so fearful of them. And then the pattern continues. I've tried to be different with my kids and I can see them tackle things so differently.
DeleteI love I love Lucy! She was amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love your answer to Oprah's question! :)
Thanks Vidya. I love I love Lucy too!
DeleteI just wrote something similar in my journal today, Suzy. Some events in the last year have made me very vary of people and I must learn to shake that off and make myself vulnerable again.
ReplyDeleteHugs Corinne. It was a tough year for you. But I've learned that when people drop off from our sphere it usually means that we cannot help them on their journey any more or that they can't help us on ours. And space in our lives in that arena makes way for others who vibrate at the same level as us. Sending tons of love and hugs your way.
DeletePlease excuse the spelling error, Suzy! I meant 'wary' ;)
DeleteNo problem Corinne. :)
DeleteMistakes are part of our path. The important thing is to learn from them, and then move on. Sometimes a mistake can tell a lot more than getting something right, just by guessing it.
ReplyDeleteAt least now you know one possible answer that is not correct :)
So true Joanna, learn and move on. Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
DeleteHow right your are!!
ReplyDeleteMistakes teach us lessons!! :)
It's not the end of the world.. its the beginning. It makes us wiser.
All the very best for UBC Suzy :)
Thanks Pixie. It's an attitude that keeps me sane particularly as I have made many mistakes :)
DeleteWell said, mistakes are great teachers as they leave us with such valuable lessons!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shilpa. :)
DeleteThis is so true!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sophie and thanks for visiting.
DeleteTotally agreed, Suzy. Making mistakes is the only way forward.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle. They definitely propel us forward very quickly.
DeleteSuperbly put Suzy I could not have agreed more to this one :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Privy :)
DeleteTotally agree...I too was and infact still am scared to make mistakes but I also realized that over the years its my mistakes that have taught me the most!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nabanita. I think it's because we are so conditioned ever since we can comprehend that mistakes are bad.
DeleteSuzy amen to that. And I believe we all need to do the same. mistakes teach us plenty...
ReplyDeleteRicha
They sure do Richa. I'm teaching my kids that mistakes are teachers. It does wonders for their self confidence.
DeleteTo make mistakes is not a crime... that is something I found out very recently... :)
ReplyDeleteNicely put Sheethal and yet we so often treat it like it is.
Deletetrue! completely agree with you on this :)
