UBC Day 22 - Haiku - Dusk

Day 22 of the Ultimate Blogging Challenge

Haiku Heights - Dusk

Light fights to survive
That moment before nightfall
Dusk marks the cross over

Twilight fading fast
Crimson line, an eerie glow
Dusk blends into night

Dusk the end of day
Peaceful drifting into sleep
Wind down and relax

Warm Regards

  2. I love it! I like how you but three together. I find haikus challenging, yet fun to write...maybe because of the challenge..the having to pay attention to form.

  6. Suzy Que,

I loved the poem, but as a certified Night Owl I go just the other way. WHen the hustle and bustle of the day wind down I'm ready to GO. I've been heard to say (often) "Night Owls Unite!"

    Thanks,
    Dr. Hale
