Much as I would like to say money is not important, unfortunately we live in a world where money is required to survive.
A year ago there were 10-15 applications for the jobs I am applying for now I am told there are 40-60 for the same job. It's become quite competitive and interviews are hard to come by.
So I am very thankful that I have the opportunity of two job interviews this week and I am crossing my fingers that at least one of them will come through for me.
I feel I did well at both interviews and that's all I can do. As Buddha and many great Spiritual leaders have said ... Detach from the outcome.
Abandon all attachment to the results of action and attain supreme peace.
Lord Krishna, Bhagvad Gita.
I wish everyone who is looking for jobs all the very best and hope that you all will be successful in getting one.
And to those around the world who celebrate Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Warm Regards

We often hear the saying 'money is not important.' But without it, there's nothing we can do. I won't be able to communicate with you now if I don't have money. I'm not rich but with some money, I'm able to have something that enables me to get connected online with bloggers across the globe.

ReplyDeleteOkay, What's the Karate walk??? I love martial arts. LOVE IT!!! I hold a black belt in kickboxing and a brown in Kempo. I took 9 years of martial arts at one time in my life but had to give it up because LOTS of things happening around me and I just didn't have the time to play anymore. Maybe one day I'll get back. I hope!

Thanks Lisa - Wow awesome to be a black and brown belt. I'm only a green belt in GKR but haven't done it for a while now. My Sensei left GKR to start up his own IKA dojo quite far from where I live and now the knees don't do too well. I practise at home so I still keep fit and don't forget.
Thanks Old Raven - I'm lost for words :)
@LindyLou - thanks so much. As always will be visiting your blog regularly and look forward to your awesome posts.
