Miracle #writebravely #celebratewritetribe #suzysilation

‘I’m Writing Bravely for the Write Tribe Festival of Words – March 2019’

For this round I am challenging myself to writing acrostic poems.

Day 2 prompt is Miracle.

M - Manifesting something out of the ordinary

I  - Imagination at its wildest can't match this bizzare occuring

R -  Realistically unbelievable

A - Astonishing event that can only be attributed to Divine intervention

C - Comprehending this is beyond human capability

L - Lacks lucid explanation

E - Extraordinary and filled with wonder

There have been events in my life that fit the descriptions above. So I have experienced miracles first hand. But even the simplest of things that we take for granted are miracles. And this is nicely explained by Thich Nhat Hanh:

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes.
All is a miracle.”
Thich Nhat Hanh, The Miracle of Mindfulness

What are miracles for you? Have you witnessed any? Share in the comments below.

  1. That quote is really a popular one, today! Miracles leave us feeling something magical is happening, right? For me everyday brings me miracles in different forms. Life reveals them one at a time in nature, in the cycle of life, in little blessings and countless moments of joy.

  2. I like the 'Realistically unbelievable' part of "miracle". They are real yet unbelievable and thus most intriguing.
