‘I’m Writing Bravely for the Write Tribe Festival of Words – March 2019’
For this round I am challenging myself to writing acrostic poems.
Day 4 prompt is Nurture
N - Nourish minds
U - Understand others and their points of view
R - Renew faith in self
T - Thought expansion
U - Upraise in a pleasing way to increase confidence
R - Review and correct behaviour with understanding and kindness
E - Encourage creative and other pursuits and provide support where needed.
One of the qualities of a great leader is the ability to nurture, to take someone beyond what they imagined they could reach even if that reach is greater than the leader him/herself.
A leader isn't confined to work, parents can and should also be leaders.
Warm Regards

Be the one who has an understanding and a forgiving heart one who looks for the best in people.
Leave people better than you found them.”

Nice take on the prompt and a very well defined meaning of the word Nurture!

Thanks Shubhra. Dropped by your post and left a message. hope you got it.
DeleteLoved your definition of Nurture.
ReplyDeleteTrue Suzy, a great leader/mentor not only nurtured the mind and spirit but pushes them beyond their capacity.
ReplyDeleteWell said. A wise leader or mentor nurtures, develops, supports, understands and help others thrive over time.
ReplyDeleteCreative take, Suzy.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you. A true leader does a great balancing act by taking care of all this and more.
I think that is one quality of a nurturer that really speaks to me—who leaves people a little better than they they were before. Loved the example of the leader. Very novel take on the prompt, Suzy
ReplyDeleteOne of the qualities of a great leader is the ability to nurture--this is a fact so many leaders lose sight of.
