This is the first Christmas I will spend when I am unemployed. It depresses me a little. Then I read so many blogs where people are struggling with life, TV interviews or events to help those in need of a handout and then I thank God and realise that I am truly blessed. I have so much.
But the thing that truly drove it home for me was the story of Rhema Marvanne a young gospel singer who lost her mother to cancer at the tender age of 6. Read her story here.
I share her version of "The Prayer".
Thank God for his Divine Grace and Blessings. Thank God for Christmas. Thank God for constantly reminding me that I have plenty and with faith and trust all will be well.
I wish you all Peace, Love and Joy
Warm Regards

I love your Christmas theme on the blog!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear that you are unemployed and feeling sad about it. I do not know what to offer to help... but I hope that you have many wonderful people surrounding you at this time of year (your blog friends do count!). If your depression is severe, I recommend seeing a doctor - this has helped me in the past.
If you want to contact me directly, you can send an email to kathryncampbell.83 at gmail.com. I know there are people worse off, but I understand that sometimes it doesn't feel that way! xo
Suzy as you say, this is only a bend in the road. I'm sure that things will work out just the way you want to. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kat and Ruby. I'm okay and surrounded by loving people. So grateful for all of you. Have an awesome Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Suzy. Being grateful for your blessings is the way to go, but there are times when it's very hard to see them. Been there myself, more than once. Wishing you a blessed Christmas and know you are appreciated and cared for by those of us who have never even met you! Imagine how much we would love you if we met! ♥
ReplyDeleteThankyou for sharing this lovely video, I hope you have a good Christmas and I look forward to following you in 2012.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo - glad to have so many lovely people from all over the world encouraging me through tough times. Who knows, maybe we will meet someday. Have a lovely Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks LindyLou - I look forward to lots of blogging and reading. Enjoy your Christmas.
I also feel the same way Ms.Suzy..as what I always say we have different journeys to make Ms.Suzy.. though life can be unfair at times we have no choice but to look at it on it's positive side..we are still blessed..though I have tears in my eyes now..I am also sad this season but life must move on and expect for a brighter and happier New year ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the reindeer shot on your pix site ms.Suzy ;)
Thanks Sie - you are so right. my later father always said to me - it's the tough times in your life that shape your character and that life would be no fun if we didn't have the downs. He was a very wise, kind and loving man and his words give me great strength, even now. Have a Blessed Christmas.
