I am participating in the Write Tribe Festival Of Words. This is a 7 day festival from 10 July to 16 July.
My theme is "Remembering Songs". These are songs that trigger some memory.
"Moon River" from the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is my song for day 3.
I was 11 years old when I saw this movie on a luxury cruise liner from Singapore to Hong Kong. And since then I've loved this song.
Many years later my daughter and I watched it together. It's one of our favourite "watch together" movies, And at every trip to New York walking past Tiffany's is a must.
Here is the song from the movie sung by Audreey Hepburn one of my favourite actresses.

Do you have a favourite "watch together" movie?
My posts so far:
Day 1 - Asmara
Day 2 - Twilight On The Trail
Day 3 linkup
Warm Regards

ReplyDeleteI ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SONG Suzy....It is something I love to watch over and over again. Loved Hepburn in this movie. My kids are small so or "watch together" movies are mostly animations.....:)
ReplyDeleteOh, I've always liked listening to it :)
ReplyDeleteGrowing up, I fell in love with this song. Another classic with lyrics written by songwriter Johnny Mercer, whose grave in Savannah, GA I have visited twice. I so love the phrase "huckleberry friend". It's just perfect. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
