The experiences we have in life, our thoughts both negative and positive, our relationships, our work, all leave a print in our hearts and in our energetic field. Some of these heart prints bring us great joy and some bring us sadness and despair.

Our beliefs also play a big part in our lives and leave their prints too. Some beliefs serve us well and some don't. 

As we progress and evolve in our life journey, some beliefs fall away naturally, some we review and rethink. And some we hold onto because of many factors like social conditioning, superstition, fear.

It is good to challenge some beliefs, it is good to reflect on some and either confirm or reshape them.

Sometimes circumstances make us question some of our strongest beliefs. Recently I have questioned my belief in God, in the Universe. Then just as I am about to lose faith and release that belief, something comes along that rekindles both.

Believe You Can

Write Tribe Festival of Words #4 - Inspiration and Creativity

My theme for this festival is "Inspiration in three words"

Day 6 - June 06 2015 = Believe you can

Self belief is a key ingredient for success so in all you do believe you can.  

In all aspects of life, destiny does play a part and so does luck but attitude plays a major part in successes and failures.

When we doubt all we do or lack the confidence, then we send a message out that we can't and the Universe will oblige by putting blocks in your path even if what you are pursuing is your destiny. You will just make the road to it a lot harder.

When you believe you can, you send a message to your mind and to the Universe that your desire is achievable.  If what you pursue is truly not in your destiny, then perhaps that success won't come to you but the path you open up with your belief will lead to your pre ordained destiny and the Universe will make way for you, doors will open and help will arrive.

When you believe you can, even when you stumble, you will find the courage to stand up again and keep moving forward and moving forward is also a key factor in reaching your destination.

Note to self:  No matter what life throws your way, believe you can.

Five Minute Friday - Tell

So many times we send a prayer up to Heaven and then wait anxiously for the answers to come. And then as time drifts on by and the answer doesn't seem to come we decide that there isn't really anyone up there looking out for us.

But the more I thought of that, the more I felt that it isn't really that the answers don't come it's more that we stop believing that an answer will come. Hence when it does, we just don't see it.

I've been blogging for 3 years now and have truly enjoyed all the challenges and prompts that I've taken part in. But always felt something missing. And then a few days ago it occurred to me that what I was missing was a spiritual prompt. Something that allowed me to make that connection with Spirit, to be involved in a like minded group where the interaction would lift me up.

Fiction doesn't do it for me. Now and then that's a fun write and read, but it just does not resonate with me. The real life stories of faith and love and hope are the stories I find inspirational and uplifting.

And so many weeks ago I sent a prayer up to Heaven. Told the Lord to find me a spiritual blogging group. Thanks Corinne (Everyday Gyaan) for leading me to the Five Minute Friday prompt.  A place where I hope I can tell the thoughts in my mind that are led from my soul.  Looking forward to linking up there.

Tell the Lord what you need, let it go and then He will find a way to bring it to you. Sometimes that occurs by chance, sometimes in an unexpected way, sometimes when you've forgotten you've asked. But the answers do come.

In the words of a Beatles song - There will be an answer, Let it be.

3 words that inspire

The tweets and posts on Facebook that caught my eye today either talked of miracles or belief. So I thought this would be the perfect post for today.

I love these words. They are filled with hope and just reading these words creates positive energy.

Just like you can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket, miracles can't occur in your life if you don't believe in them.
