Five Minute Friday - Keep

Contrary to last week's Five Minute Friday post, where nothing came to mind, this week it's just the opposite. So many thoughts flooding my mind for the word Keep.

I tried to stick to one theme, but the mind persists in moving in all directions. So in keeping with the way my life moves by going with the flow, I'm going with all the thoughts that are pouring in.

So here goes ...

Keep the faith when doubts start to creep in and keep hope alive no matter what. Keep the love in your heart and do all your work in the spirit of love. Love, Faith and Hope are the essence of life.

Keep the good memories alive for they bring us joy and light up those dark moments.

Keep all things authentic because keeping up appearances and trying to be someone we are not is very tiring.

Keep trying and don't give up. Sometimes success is just round the corner and too often we give up that wee bit too soon.

Keep your thoughts positive. All things are possible when we believe we can.

Keep life balanced. Trying to do many things does justice to none. Stop sometimes and smell the roses.

Keep life simple. Life just flows a lot more easily when life is uncomplicated.

Keep your focus on the important things in your life. My kids are my focus for they are my strength and joy and the breath of my life.

Keep Him forever in  our hearts and in our mind. For His love and care keep us going when life seems hard. That's certainly true for me.

What keeps you going?

Those who see Me in all things, and all things in Me, are never lost to Me,
nor am I ever lost to them

  1. What keeps me going is my faith in Jesus. Through many times of struggles and challenges He has been my rock. I'm visiting from Five Minute Friday.

  2. You say there are many thoughts in your head, but to me they all sound so beautifully integrated and harmonised around the Central Thought of Krishna :) Loved reading this post, Suzy.

    1. Thanks Beloo. Glad you thought they harmonised with each other as the thoughts were just randomly flowing through my mind.

  3. Your imagination brought so many things to your mind for the prompt word--all of them good and positive. My memories from 60 years ago are flowing at the moment. I'm jotting them down as they rise to the surface.

  5. Thank you Suzy for this post - a sweetness of synchronicity in "Keep the Faith" when doubts creep in - strange bedfellows indeed. Synchronicity is alive and well for which I give thanks, as Faith and Doubt have been my companions for last while. I think Faith is a muscle that needs exercising in my heart and soul ...

    1. Thanks Susan. So true that faith is a muscle that needs exercising and faith is not an easy muscle to move.

  6. What keeps me going is hope and faith in God! The Lord Krishna!

"Keep life balanced. Stop sometimes and smell the roses." Very valid point. In this rat race, we forget to acknowledge the little blessings in life.

  8. Faith - can be such a wonderful thing :) It can get us through even the most toughest of situations - both faith in a divine power, as well as in ourselves.
