is my choice for C this week for ABC Wednesday.
And the choice stems from Write Tribe's prompt of 55 Fiction. This is my first attempt at 55 Fiction and I found it hugely challenging.
Calm and composed, she gazed at the clouds.
Confusion and turmoil carefully masked.
Crushing pain tearing her heart apart.
Crying was futile. He was gone, a charismatic young life cruelly snuffed out. "Why?" she silently lamented.
Closing her eyes she saw his captivating smile, felt his comforting arms. Memories bringing her joy.
Love cherished forever.

Have a cool day.

Beautiful Suzy. You always amaze me! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kajal. That's so sweet of you to say.
DeleteWhat a lot of C words in there!! Consolatory memories!!
ReplyDeleteMy Post Is Here
Thanks Nanka. That's a nice way of putting it.
DeleteAmazing to find someone here who is familiar with the good old 'Bombay' days!! ;) Now it is Mumbai and getting a facelift!!
DeleteThe good old Bombay days were great. A facelift is not too bad as long as they don't change it beyond recognition.
DeleteAnd I refuse to call VT CST - that to me is sacrilege.
DeleteBeautiful words and shots. Carver, ABC Wed. Team

Thanks Roger. Tried to get in as much C as I could.
DeleteAnd you did a fab job of this - complete with all 'C's - you get an 'A', Suzy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Corinne. Good to see a C move to an A. Though in NZ an A would translate to just a pass mark as in Achieved. Confuses everyone.
