My willpower flew out the window
And then I walked into the supermarket - chippies on sale, a rainbow cake. Oh yum. Will power went bye-bye.
Or perhaps I should not be too harsh on myself and allow a little indulgence now and then.
Have a super weekend and check out some other entries at Six Word Saturday
Warm Regards
Dear Suzy,
ReplyDeleteA little cake won't hurt, just keep up with the exercise. Self esteem is everything!! Not weight...even though health is most important. Stay beautiful my friend.
Thanks Andy. You sure know how to make a girl smile! Thanks for dropping by my friend.
DeleteWe have to allow ourselves some little rewards here and there you know what you need to do and you will just along the way reward YOU for all the times you did say no, moderation Suzy you will be just fine tomorrow is a new day to stay on track good luck :]
ReplyDeleteThanks Janice for your very kind words and great encouragement. yep, tomorrow is a new day.
DeleteA very apt entry for willpower :) Cheers, Ruby
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruby. Resisting food is a very difficult thing.
DeleteOh, I'm right there with you of late--no willpower whatsoever. Not in saying no to food, or in saying yes to exercise. I am committed to getting it together, though. And good luck to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheri. I'm committed too. Wish you luck too.
DeleteI am in that same fight with myself right now. I lost a bunch of weight and then stopped counting, I was stable for awhile and now the pds. are starting to creep up again. I made myself go for a walk today and put my calories in myfitness pal. Good luck. you can do it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Austine for visiting and for your encouragement. I used to do karate and was very fit and then found my knees and back were being impacted so now I've got to find another fitness program that is kinder on my body. Wish you luck too. I know we can do it.
DeleteI've been craving for cake all day today - reading this didn't help! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh sorry Corinne. I hope you had more willpower than I did!
