Round 10 of ABC Wednesday was a music round and I enjoyed that round so much, I thought I would keep the music going for this round or at least for most of it.
So this week my choice of song is
Always on my mind
by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson was originally recorded by Brenda Lee in 1972.
There are over 300 recorded releases of the song by many performers including Elvis Presley in 1972 and Willie Nelson's Grammy award version in 1982.
This is a song close to my heart.
So here is Willie Nelson's version

DeleteWell I am a lover of Country Music, and Willie is one of my long time favorites. He had a cassette I play (I know NO ones has cassettes any more) but I do... and it's called The Redheaded Stranger...and I love the piano and guitar in it....and his voice "It was the time of the preacher......."
ReplyDeleteHi Wanda. I still have my cassettes though I don't play them anymore.
DeleteI have joined ABC Wednesday for the first time for this round, so was interested to read here about the musical angle from last time. I will be entering via my photography blog. Anyway I like your choice for A.
ReplyDeleteYay LindyLou. For a while I did entries from both my blogs - maybe I'll do that again in the next round. Will look forward to your entries.
