Trying Out a Voiceover For a City I Love #vlog #chaiwithsuzy #SuzysIlation

Having done a few vlogs with just music, I thought I should now venture into the voice-over space.

Was it scary?  Yes of course, but I thought if I really want to get serious about vlogging, then I had better start chatting.  So here it is, my tentative little baby step into a voiceover.

“ You’re never too old to set another goal, or to dream a new dream.”
― C.S. Lewis

Today's vlog is a quick view of a city I love ... Wellington, which is the capital of New Zealand.

It is a beautiful city and has spectacular scenery wherever you go. So it's no wonder that The Lonely Planet described it as the "coolest little capital in the world" and 4th best city in the world to visit.

And for all you coffee drinkers, it is a coffee paradise. In 2014 CNN named it among the world’s top 8 coffee destinations.

So grab a cuppa and join me for a glimpse of Wellington.

Trying to film from a car is not an easy thing to do and perhaps the focus was a little bit off. But nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed this video.

What's your favourite city? Share some information about it in the comments below, or make a post or vlog and post the link in the comments.

  1. That's pretty cool about it being one of the top coffee destinations! I'm a bit of a coffee snob and NZ has been on my list of places to travel to. Nicely done with the video Suzy!

    1. Thanks Sanch. Don't forget to visit Wellington, a lot of tourists skip this beautiful city and don't know what they miss - including good coffee :)

  4. New Zealand and Australia have been on my bucket list since early childhood. Incidentally, I had to crank the volume on my desktop all the way up to barely hear the music. Just wanted you to know. Don't know if that was just my issue.

    1. Thanks Alana. I'll try and increase the volume next time but it's pretty loud with headphones.

  8. You are adventurous! I love this new way of vlogging. What would you call it? Voice over video blogging? Great idea to create a blog. The only disadvantage I can see is for people like me who access the blog on a PC without speakers :( I will have to play this on my iPhone or get a set of speakers/headphones to truly enjoy the experience
