Stressed? A Distraction Helps #vlog #chaiwithsuzy #SuzysIlation

Some weeks are stressful. No matter how well you organise and plan, things come along to derail them.

Last week was a stressful week. And by Friday I was starting to feel a little flustered. There seemed to be issue after issue piling up with no solution in sight.

There was a time in the morning when I was feeling so overwhelmed that my brain was running in many directions. I just could not focus.

Then suddenly a distraction ... The New Zealand Navy helicopter circling the harbour. And that was just what I needed to break that scattered, panicky, heavy feeling.

This week also had some other nice surprises. But for that you'll need to view my vlog.

So grab a cuppa and join me on a little helicopter distraction.

Btw a helicopter ride is on my "things to do" list. Someday Somewhere!

  1. There are some days you just want to tick off your list when complete. I had that last thursday - a big build up but now it's done - I can sigh.

  3. Congratulations to your son! Wellington Harbour is gorgeous on a blue day. As an aside I have done 2 helicopter rides - both in NZ. One across the Remarkables in Queenstown and one at Mt Cook...both memorable. #teamlovinlife

  6. Loved the blue sky - NZ and Australia have the best weather in the world! And it's lovely that the helicopter to give you a little distraction to take your mind off all that stress :)

  8. That blue sky helps after all the cloudy, misty weather we have had lately. For a really special treat, I can highly recommend a helicopter ride over to Wharekauhau for lunch. Though you need about six people in the helicopter to make it worthwhile. It is awesome to see Wellington from a different perspective.

  11. Isn't it always when we're stressed that things seem to pile up! Funny too, how something so simple as a helicopter could be jsut what you need at the time. Great reminder for me to live in the moment and appreciate the simple things x
