Day 9  of the Ultimate Blogging Challenge and the letter H for the  AtoZ Blogging Challenge


H is for  ...  Hoover Dam


I struggled with "H".  I couldn't think of a single thing to write for this letter. Then decided that as my "G" post had been quite wordy, I would say as little as possible and let the pictures do the talking.

So here is the Hoover Dam in pictures. (My picture doesn't do it justice as it is quite a spectacular sight).

The Arizona - Nevada border. It felt quite weird standing on this spot - one foot in Nevada the other in Arizona.

Slanting power grids - my son was fascinated with these.

Hoover Dam is considered to be one of the Architectural / Engineering wonders of the world so I am grateful I got a chance to see it.
