Gratitude List #36

I've missed doing these so getting back to my gratitude lists and linking up with Alphabet Salad's Gratitude list #36

So here is my list for today:

My Daily Thoughts:
  • I started a daily thoughts series on my facebook page Suzy's Ilation 10 days ago and I'm really enjoying this as it gets me to focus on positive thinking. And I've had some nice interactions too.

Timetable Clashes sorted:
  • Grateful that my son's timetable clashes were sorted by his lecturer so he doesn't have to change his subjects. Classic example of when you ask someone politely to resolve an issue, it gets resolved

Travel
  • Thankful that my daughter reached her holiday destination safely and that her partner's house wasn't affected by the floods

Healing
  • Thankful that my mother's leg is getting better

Appreciation
  • Thankful for appreciation on a project well completed
  • Thankful for awards presented by bloggers and that reminds me, I need to do a post on that.

So what are you grateful for today?

I was looking back on my gratitude posts like this one and quite intrigued that they get the lowest page views and comments. Is no one grateful for all the wonderful things in their life or interested in reading someone else's?

Have a great day and hope you all have a lot of things to be grateful for.

Warm Regards

  1. I think it's good to have a gratitude list once in a while. Not for others but for ourselves. Makes us realize how happy we are in real.

  3. I love your gratitude list, Suzy and how you divided it into topics like that. Doesn't it feel good to do the gratitude list? It helps me avoid getting into a negative slump, something I can do quite easily if I let myself. Interesting observation that not many people read your gratitude posts compared to other blog posts. Maybe they think it's too personal and doesn't relate to them. I encounter the same thing.

  5. You surely have a lot to be thankful for, Suzy :) Actually we all do, if we look closely. I enjoy reading such positive posts. I posted a comment on Laurel's blog saying that I may start doing these lists too...just because this is such a nice way to remember to be grateful for so many big and little things in our day-to-day life. Thanks for this post :)

  6. Hi, Yes, it is important to take time out to express our gratitude towards the person. We miss to do a lot of things unintentionally but we need to do few things intentionally and this is one of them. Liked this a lot and I do visit Laurel's one as well.

  7. Suzy, I love reading other people's gratitude lists. I may not have time to do one of my own every week, but I do them when I can, and I almost always read the others linked with Laurel's. It always makes me feel good to read about the blessings others have! Love your list.
