UBC Day 5 Mistakes

Day 5 Ultimate Blogging Challenge

Oprah's 3nd Question

The Mistake I Never Want To Make

There was a time in my life when I was afraid to make mistakes, but I have learned over the years that mistakes are great teachers and I move forward in leaps and bounds when I make them.

So the mistake I never want to make is the mistake of being afraid of making mistakes.

How I Love Lucy was born? We decided that instead of divorce lawyers profiting from our mistakes, we'd profit from them. ~ Lucille Ball

  1. Isn't that the truth? Without mistakes we wouldn't learn some of life's greatest lessons. ♥

    1. I agree Shiva. Unfortunately all we got as kids was punishment for mistakes. No wonder we are so fearful of them. And then the pattern continues. I've tried to be different with my kids and I can see them tackle things so differently.

  5. I just wrote something similar in my journal today, Suzy. Some events in the last year have made me very vary of people and I must learn to shake that off and make myself vulnerable again.

    1. Hugs Corinne. It was a tough year for you. But I've learned that when people drop off from our sphere it usually means that we cannot help them on their journey any more or that they can't help us on ours. And space in our lives in that arena makes way for others who vibrate at the same level as us. Sending tons of love and hugs your way.

  6. Mistakes are part of our path. The important thing is to learn from them, and then move on. Sometimes a mistake can tell a lot more than getting something right, just by guessing it.
At least now you know one possible answer that is not correct :)
