UBC Day 19 - Six Word Saturday - Blobbing out

Day 19 of the Ultimate Blogging Challenge and time for Six Word Saturday

Saturdays are my blob-out days - Really?

I got my hair cut this morning. Finally decided to let go of the long hair. I'm doing a lot of letting go this week! Just blissful now - all the weight is gone and it's easier to brush down and manage.

Did my grocery shopping - so that's done and dusted for the week.

Answered all my emails - a whole lot came through today from family scattered around the world.

Had a quick chat with my cousin in India.

Did the usual around-the-house clean up stuff as I have visitors tomorrow.  Thank goodness the weather isn't the best for doing laundry otherwise I would've had to do that too!

Had a lot of catching up to do with reading blogs and commenting - from the ones I read regularly to all those who comment on my posts - special thanks to all of you who keep me motivated to keep writing.

Lately I've neglected my other blog Photos are Fun so thought it was time to pick that one up again.

And I thought Saturday is my blob-out day! The day when I meditate (for longer than usual), watch a movie, chill with some music - basically disengage my brain from thought!

It's 10.00pm and I'm still writing - I think it is time to disengage the brain and truly blob.

I was going to watch "The Sixth Sense" tonight but my sixth sense tells me that's best watched during the day so will have to defer that to tomorrow or perhaps Monday as it is a holiday. Too late now to watch a movie anyway,

Enjoy your Saturday. Mine is nearly over!

Warm Regards

    1. Thanks Betty. It's only been in the last 2-3 years that I've granted myself a blob-out day - best thing I ever did.

  5. That sounds like a wonderful, relaxing day. We went to watch my 8 year old son's basketball game and then took the boys to their favorite store - Target. Escaped with lots of stuff for the house and only one toy - a soccer ball - so all is good!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
    warm wishes,

  9. The days to fly by! I'll think I have all this time to "veg out" and relax and so many different interests pull me here and there that when I'm done with this the day is nearly done! Hope you found a little "blobbing out" time before you hit the sack. :)

    1. Hi Jessica, I did have a few minutes of blobbing (meditating to Krishna Das' music is a great way to blob).

  10. Suzy, I think you need to take lessons in blobbing out! That was a lot of stuff you got done today. I'd be glad to be that productive on a "normal" day, much less a day I had set aside for a whole lot of nothing. ;-)
