Six Word Saturday - Rain

Raindrops keep falling on my head

So I just did me some talking to the sun
I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on the job
Those raindrops keep falling on my head they keep falling.

This week we've seen the sun once. The rain's been pouring down, the wind gusting to gale force.

Yesterday as I was on my way home on the bus, the thought came into my head:  Are the Gods angry when the rain thunders down or are they blessing the earth with nourishment?

Either way, today I'm tired of the rain and the winds that are hammering my house all around.

A little sunshine would be nice. So c'mon Sun, please Show Your Face

Have a sunny weekend.

Check out some other entries at Six Word Saturday.

Warm Regards

  3. Yes we had rain too and the wind was very gusty. We were able to open some windows though instead of using the air conditioner. Autumn is around the corner.

  4. Dear Suzy,
Yes, too much rain can be burdensome, but there is no life (soil of the earth) without the beauty of the rain. Thanks for sharing my friend.

    1. Hi Andy, we've just had a little too much. Wouldn't mind the rain if it was a nice light drizzle but with the gale force winds it's just a wee bit tiresome.

  6. Now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all day! Thankfully, I really like it. ;-) We've cooled off, but haven't moved into much of a rainy season yet. Hope you get some sunshine soon. Springtime with only rain is no fun at all.
