ABC Wednesday - Round 10 - J is for ...

James Bond theme songs
This week I've chosen 3 of my favourite James Bond numbers.
So here they are ....

From Russia with love
Is the second movie in the James Bond series starring Sean Connery.
The movie was released in 1963 and is considered by many as the best film in the James Bond series.
The theme song was sung by Matt Monroe and composed by John Barry.

For Your Eyes only
is the twelfth spy film in the James Bond series and the fifth to star Roger Moore. It was released in 1981.

The theme song is sung by Sheena Easton, composed by Bill Conti with lyrics by Michael Lesson.
It is the only James Bond movie which has the lead singer included in the opening credits.

Moonraker
is the eleventh film in the James Bond series and the fourth to star Roger Moore. It was the third and final film in the series to be directed by Lewis Gilbert and was released in 1979.

  2. Hello.
James Bond had the best job...no matter what happened, he always ended up with the women! LOL
Nice song selection. I didn't realize Sheena Easton was the singer in song #2. Shirley Bsssey was one of Prince Charles' favorite singers (so my wife tells me). Thanks for sharing & visiting. Thanks also for voting for me over at Bloggers. I appreciate it. See you next week!
